SHIPPING AND DELIVERY TIMES
Our shipping charges are inclusive of processing, handling and shipping cost. We offer several shipping options, UPS, FedEx, Canada Posts, Purolator, DHL. Ground Shipping usually takes 3-8 business days depending on destination. (Weekends are not included in the delivery time.)
Holiday Shipping, If you order a gift ground service, we will ship it ground service. There will be NO REFUNDS for delivered late or not ordered with the correct shipping method. (SHIPPING IS NON REFUNDABLE) NO EXCEPTIONS.
The day the order is shipped is not counted as one day. Please allow an extra day.
DHL, PUROLATOR, UPS AND FEDEX regular delivery days are Monday-Friday .
Saturday delivery is available in certain areas at an additional fee. Please contact us to check if zip code is in the availability area.
We offer several upgrading shipping options within the USA: Next Day (1 Business Day), in most areas and 2 business days. (Please allow an extra day when placing order. The day the order is shipped is not counted as one day.) However because of temperature variations , we do suggest upgrading your shipping options to 2 business Day or 1 business day if shipping to warmer temperature zones during the very hot summer months. We take great care in appropriately packaging and shipping your order so that it arrives fresh.
HOSPITAL DELIVERIES:
We do not guarantee hospital deliveries. Deliveries to hospitals are not recommended. These shipments go to a general receiving department being routed to the patients room. Sorry , no refunds will be given if the patient checks out or cannot be located.
Late Delivery:
If you order arrives late due to a shipping company (CanadaPosts, UPS, FedEx, etc.) delay a credit for shipping will not be issued. This does apply to delays due to weather or delivery attempts that are unsuccessful.
PERISHABLES:
Food items and perishables cannot be returned.
Orders received by 11:00 AM EST are usually processed the same business day.
Our Standard Shipping is available Monday - Wednesday ship dates.
Standard Shipping takes 2-3 business days during off-peak ordering seasons, extending to 2-5 business days during peak seasons. (December, February, May - Mother's Day week and June-Fathers Day week.)
Express Shipping is Available for Monday - Thursday ship dates only.
Saturday Shipping is available for Friday ship dates only. Saturday Shipping is overnight for Saturday delivery.
Saturday Shipping is not available to all areas.
Orders received by 11:00 AM EST 10:00 AM PST usually ships the same business day.
Christmas Holiday Shipping Policy During December
All Orders received after 11:00 AM EST will be processed on the next business day. (Monday-Friday)
Please do not count Saturday and Sunday when determining time. If choosing ground shipping option, orders received on Saturday or Sunday will be processed the next business day.
PLEASE ALLOW AN EXTRA DAY ON THESE DELIVERY TIMES DURING DECEMBER. WE OFFER OVERNIGHT SERVICE FOR EXPEDITED DELIVERY.

Claims/ Damages
All damage claims must be filed in writing via fax or email within 5 business days of the gift being received. NO exceptions.
WINE GIFT BASKETS
We ship Wine Baskets in Entire Canada, And in US due to Local ordinances, gift baskets containing wine may only be shipped to the following states: AK, CA, DC, HI, ID, IL, IA, LA, MO, NE, NV, NM, ND, OR, WA, WV, WY. Adult signatures are required on all wine shipments.
CHANGES IN SHIPPING INFORMATION
If an error is made in the shipping address after the order has been placed. or shipping address needs to be changed. Please notify us immediately. If the order has not been shipped, we will gladly make the necessary changes.
If the gift has already been picked up by the Parcel Delivery Company. We will need to contact them to reroute the package to the correct address. A rerouting fee of $25.00 will be charged to your credit card for this error.
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping address, including: Recipient Name (s), Company Name (If applicable), street number and street name, floor, suite, or apartment number (if applicable) and zip code along with the phone no and email address.
If you are unsure of the delivery address, we encourage you to contact the recipient before the placing of your order.
If UPS, FEDEX, DHL, PUROLATOR, Canada Posts or any other shipping company request a corrected or more complete address after we ship your order. There is a $25.00 fee per order. Please avoid this fee by providing an accurate and complete address when you place your order.
IF UPS, FEDEX, DHL, PUROLATOR, Canada Posts or any other shipping company return your order to us as undeliverable, you then have the option of reshipping the same order to a new address and paying a new shipping charge, or receiving a credit for 50% of the total amount of your order. (We have a 50% restocking fee). The shipping charge is nonrefundable.
ORDER CANCELLATION
We take pride in our customer service at Gift Baskets Etc and this includes not only the quality of our products, but also the speed of our service and shipping. Keeping this in mind, we require that any cancellation be made within 12 hours of order confirmation.
Any orders not cancelled within 12 hours will be subject to a nonrefundable handling fee and service charge equal to 15% of the total order.
The 12 hours cancellation does not apply to orders where same day shipping has been requested. In the case of a same day shipping request, all order must be cancelled within 3 hours of order confirmation or be subject to the same refund/replacement restrictions as outlined above.
All cancelled orders placed with a credit card that has already been processed will be subject to a $6.00 cancellation fee.
CANCELLATION OF ORDER AFTER IT HAS SHIPPED
We do apologize, we do not allow cancellation on gourmet food gift items or perishable foods after it has been shipped, because we cannot reuse any food product found in the gifts.
EXCHANGES OR RETURNS
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may exchange it or return it for a refund or credit. (Excluding Shipping and Handling). NO EXCEPTIONS! All shipping charges will be borne by custmer.
The refund is based on the gift and condition upon being returned. (ORIGINAL SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.)
Simply return the gift in its original container. Please Include Insurance with the return of the gift. We are not responsible for items lost in transit.
Returns or exchanges claims must be placed within 5 days of gift being received. Notification in writing via fax or email must be made within 5 business days of the gift being received. NO exceptions.
We also offer Refunds for any damaged or defective Gifts as long as the claim is placed within 5 business days of the gift being received.

Because we create custom gift baskets uniquely for your order, custom gift baskets may not be returned or exchanged.

At times we may need to substitute items, as we make changes to our inventory based upon discovery on new and unique items, product availability and seasonal difference. Therefore, Substitution may be made, but quality will never be compromised.
